At Learning & Support Services (LSS), we offer friendly, engaging and age-appropriate first aid training for children through our Mini Medics programme. Designed specifically for ages 7–11, this course introduces essential first aid skills in a supportive and enjoyable way.
As a family-run organisation, we deliver our training services with warmth, patience and professionalism, mirroring the values that sit at the heart of our person-centred support services across Essex. Our aim is to help children understand how to stay safe, act responsibly in an emergency and feel proud of their ability to help others.
Even at a young age, children are capable of recognising when something isn’t right and taking simple steps to keep themselves and others safe. Giving them early exposure to first aid helps build confidence, encourages calm decision-making and teaches them when to seek help from trusted adults.
